Its clans are full of nice people but are really weak in pvp. The United States: this nation is SUPER popular with newbs who are from the US and its one of the biggest traps in the game. The main clans speak spanish so if you dont speak spanish there is better choices. Its usually easy to sail between them without getting pirated. Second only to GB and pirates for location, good for crafting and pve due to all its ports being tightly packed together. Use to be the home of some really good port battl3 clans. Sweden: decent location nestled between france and Denmark. Historically the carebear nation due to its remoteness. The dutch: tiny nation in a terrible location far in the south. Its where close knit clans like to go if they dont want to be involved in national politics so they can do their own thing. Pve/crafting is not good here due to lack of ports.ĭenmark: okay location in a small nation. Its where solo players and small clans go to maximize the amount of enemies they can find on the seas. Its never too far from pvp in any direction. It is near Port Royal, La tortue and so on. Pirates: Mortimer town is my favorite location in the game. Use to be top dog in pvp and is shaping up to still be a strong nation.also has no home so pve and crafting may be difficult. Prussia: lots of germans here but lots of english speakers too. Has no starting capital but Im sure the russians will carve out a home soon. If you dont speak russian then dont play here. Not recommended for non-french speakers based on location. Its location to the far east is not super great but it is safe for pve/crafting. This nation does get farmed pretty hard by gankers due to its location and huge supply of noobs.įrance: historically a strong nation in the game. If you are a noob you will find a clan here and enjoy some good times. Great Britian: historically the most populous nation in the game with an excellent starting location at Port Royal in the middle of the map. So here is a little guide on the nations. Too many times noobs join a nation with low player counts or a bad starting location and end up quitting. The nation you choose is extremely important to your early success in naval action. Maybe you are danish so you pick the danes. Perhaps you are a fan of Nelson so you go GB. Perhaps you are american so you pick the USA.
